Slovak Society of Clinical Pharmacology (SSCP), organizational part of the Slovak Medical Association (o.p. SkMA). We bring together doctors, especially clinical pharmacologists, but also colleagues from other clinical disciplines, pharmacists, scientific and research workers, especially pharmacologists, as well as other people interested in the field of clinical pharmacology. We take care of its all-round development and application in the health care system in Slovakia, including in the necessary international context and cooperation. The priority is the participation of doctors - clinical pharmacologists in interdisciplinary processes of ensuring rational, that is, safe and effective pharmacotherapy for real patients. The SSCP's professional portfolio also includes clinical evaluation (clinical testing) of medicines, development and innovation of rational pharmacotherapy standards, development and innovation of the state medicinal drug policies at all levels of their implementation, rational prescription, participation in the evaluation of the economic and overall benefit of rational pharmacotherapy (pharmacoeconomics, HTA) etc. 

We offer our members a range of benefits, especially up-to-date and useful information, invitations to our own educational activities and scientific-professional meetings (conferences, workshops, seminars, etc.), the opportunity to participate in the formation and development of the discipline of Clinical Pharmacology in Slovakia, including in the a broad international context. SSCP is a founding member association of the European Association of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy (EACPT) and of the (Clinical) Pharmacology Section of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
